What does it cost?
Rates move with the season and with how much of the property you take, so we quote on dates rather than publish a single number. Send yours and you will have a figure back the same day — and it will be lower than the same stay costs on any platform, because there is no commission in it.
Can six of us take the whole property?
Yes, and people do. The reason is not the extra beds, it is that the sauna, ice bath, spa and gym stop being shared. Ask when you enquire and we will price both options so you can see the difference.
Is anybody else on the property?
Our property manager lives on the property in her own separate dwelling, out of sight of the house. Two bedrooms in the homestead are our daughters’ and stay closed while you are here. Otherwise the place is yours.
How does the mountain parking work?
We hold Peak Club parking at both Coronet Peak and The Remarkables, with as many spaces as we need — so it is not subject to availability, and it applies every day and to every car. On carpool-priority days, when cars carrying fewer than three people are turned back to the overflow, you drive straight to the base building.
What can the property manager arrange?
Ski and board fitting at the house, e-bikes delivered to the door, the house stocked before you arrive, dinner delivered or a table booked. If it is the sort of thing that usually eats a morning, ask — the answer is normally yes.
Can we bring the dog?
Yes. There is a fenced run so they can be outside without being watched every minute, which is the part most places leave you to solve yourself. Worth knowing that the wider property is open and has ponies and pigs on it, so a dog that chases is better on a lead beyond the fence.
Is it suitable for young children?
It suits families well, with the animals being the main attraction. Two things to know: the land is open, and the spa and ice bath are unfenced, so small children need an eye on them.
How do we get there?
Twelve minutes from Queenstown Airport, twenty from Queenstown itself. You will want a car — the property is on ten acres in Dalefield, which is the whole point of it, and that does mean it is not walkable to a restaurant.
What about cancellations?
Terms depend on the season and how far out you book, and they are set out in full on the confirmation before you pay anything. If plans are uncertain, say so when you enquire.
